Someone emailed me this tonight and I am forwarding it to you all. We
were unaware of the extent. Consider this quote. Then see the forward

Before the final visitation of God's judgments upon the earth, there
will be, among the people of the Lord, such a revival of primitive
godliness as has not been witnessed since apostolic times. The Spirit
and power of God will be poured out upon his children. At that time
many will separate themselves from those churches in which the love of
this world has supplanted love for God and his Word. Many, both of
ministers and people, will gladly accept those great truths which God
has caused to be proclaimed at this time, to prepare a people for the
Lord's second coming. The enemy of souls desires to hinder this work;
and before the time for such a movement shall come, he will endeavor
to prevent it, by introducing a counterfeit. In those churches which
he can bring under his deceptive power, he will make it appear that
God's special blessing is poured out; there will be manifest what is
thought to be great religious interest. Multitudes will exult that God
is working marvelously for them, when the work is that of another
spirit. Under a religious guise, Satan will seek to extend his

undoubtedly the false revivals we should expect. The following list
was compiled by a good friend who actively promotes OGR in her

Commentary
Reading what the world is doing 7/7/07 alerted me to the urgency of
praying seriously. IF SO MANY, new agers and ecumenical groups are
praying for a spirit on 7/7/07 to come, then a false spirit may very
well be poured out upon the earth.
What does that mean for us?
The urgency for us as Seventh-day Adventists to get serious and pray
for the true Holy Spirit to help us make full and complete commitment
to the Lord and to fill us with His righteousness and
goodness in ever increasing amounts as we surrender more and more
fully to our God is GREATER NOW THEN EVER BEFORE.
IT"S EXTREMELY URGENT that we do so NOW.
Yes, I believe a false spirit will be poured on 7/7/07 -- BUT IT DOES
not have to be upon those participating in operation global rain.
We are given a measuring stick -
"Yet none need be deceived. In the light of God's word it is not
difficult to determine the nature of these movements.
1. There is an emotional excitement,
2. a mingling of the true with the false, that is well adapted to
mislead.
3. Wherever men neglect the testimony of the Bible,
4. turning away from those plain, soul-testing truths which
require self-denial and renunciation of the world, there we may be
sure that God's blessing is not bestowed." {Mar 33.2}
We've been through many of the lessons of global rain and it's
1. not about excitement
2. what we've been studying was from the writings of EGW and A.T.
Jones and of course scripture.
3. Many of those readings were pretty hard hitting as to our
neglect and need to rid ourselves of sin
4. it was a clear call for self denial and renunciation of the
world.
Yet, do you realize the NEW AGERS will be "praying" all day 7/7/07
complete with rock bands etc. for the peace and restoration of the
earth. the "i am you" "live earth" stuff.
There's the "open heaven" revival in Santa Cruz on 7/7/07 --
definitely an ecumenical movement talking of a summer of love similar
to that 40 years ago, with several bands and asking for forgiveness
for the lack of love among Christians.
There's a non denominational massive youth gathering in Nashville on
7-7-07 seeking the Holy Spirit, also complete with bands and booths
and raffles. And more.....
Brothers and Sisters -
We'd better make fast prepatory work of aligning ourselves on the
right side, and pleading with God to be filled with the RIGHT HOLY
SPIRIT. We need to do it especially fervently at a time when others
are praying for a spirit that sounds rather different. Don't think we
must wait for some time in the future for our "revival" we must seek
it NOW.
If a false spirit falls upon the world 7/7/07 it will influence and
afflict everyone who has not spent the SAME TIME begging and pleading
and preparing for THE HOLY SPIRIT of God to be in control of their
lives.
(This is pure conjecture. This makes it sound like there will only be two groups after 7-7-07 and last I checked that is called the close of probation.)
Don't think the "counterfeit" will go away if the genuine isn't
present.
As Dalfie pointed out with her example -
There are people in the churches who are seeking the true, while
others in the very same truth are upset that it's crimping their life
style. We may be on the edge of the great shaking in our church --
can we afford not to be involved and lead as many as possible to seek
for the true HOLY SPIRIT now while the interest is high?
How else could we avoid a powerful counterfeit? The best way is to
seek the true with all our hearts.
